A few parents and kids learned to sew for the first time at our recent project with The Honeycomb Project! We repurposed repurpose designer fabric remnants that would other wise end up in a landfill to design and sew comfy quilts for pediatric patients. We can’t wait to share photos of the completed quilts.
Thank you to everyone who donated their time!

Sunday November 3rd we are hosting 3 Sew Gorgeous Pillowcase Dress Events!
10:00-12:00, 1:00-3:00 and 4:00-6:00.
We are looking for volunteers with sewing machine skills to help us create pillow case dresses for this event. The dresses will be sent to You Are Sew Gorgeous (http://www.sewgorgeous.org) on Monday, November 4th and distributed around the world to little girls in need. Please visit their website for more information!
This event is not a class, it’s an opportunity for us to create as many dresses as possible to donate. All volunteers MUST have machine sewing experience. If you do not have machine sewing experience we may need people to help pin fabric and trim threads. Also, if you can not make it to the event please let us know if you’d like to help out in any other way. We’d LOVE that! Please RSVP to hold a sewing machine for you. You are also, as always, welcome to bring your own sewing machine too! Can’t wait!
