In this two-hour, one-time Denim Repair class, you'll learn how to repair worn-out areas in your favorite jeans and give them a second life! Using sewing techniques designed for denim, you'll learn how to patch and reinforce common problem areas like inner thigh wear and holes.
Previous sewing machine experience and knowledge is required or students must take our Machine Sewing Basics class.
Our studio sews with Brother® computerized sewing machines. You’re welcome to use one of our studio machines or you can even bring your own personal machine to get better acquainted with it.
Bring your at least 2 pairs of jeans and learn how to repair, reinforce, and extend the life of your denim. We'll cover patching techniques, fabric selection, stitching methods, and tips for creating durable repairs that blend with your jeans.

Scrap fabric(s) to reinforce the denim
Don't have scrap fabric? No problem! You're welcome to browse and use our studio's collection of scrap fabrics at no additional cost.
