In this two-hour, one-time Drawstring Gift Bag class, you’ll learn how to sew reusable fabric gift bags that are perfect for presenting gifts to family and friends.
These bags are a festive, eco-friendly alternative to traditional gift wrap and can be enjoyed year after year.
Learn how to sew and assemble a reusable fabric gift bag with a drawstring closure. You’ll work with cotton fabrics and learn basic sewing techniques to create a finished bag that’s perfect for holiday gifting, wrapping special surprises, or adding a handmade touch to your seasonal celebrations.
Weekends | 1:00 PM–3:00 PM
Cotton fabrics of your choice, you’re welcome to use our scrap fabrics too!
Coordinating ribbon, cord, or drawstring material or you’re welcome to our ribbons too!
Previous sewing machine experience and knowledge is required or students must take our Machine Sewing Basics Class.
Our studio sews with Brother® computerized sewing machines. You’re welcome to use one of our studio machines, or bring your own functioning personal machine to get better acquainted with it.
If minimum enrollment is not met, we will notify you and offer your choice of a full refund or rescheduling to another class date
