In this two-hour, one-time Machine Feet class, you'll learn how to use the specialty feet that came with your sewing machine and discover how they can make sewing easier, more efficient, and more creative.
Previous sewing machine experience and knowledge is required or students must take our Machine Sewing Basics class.
Our studio sews with Brother® computerized sewing machines. You’re welcome to use one of our studio machines or you can even bring your own personal machine to get better acquainted with it.
Get familiar with the different presser feet that come with your sewing machine and learn what each one does. We'll practice using common machine feet for techniques like creating even seams, installing zippers, sewing buttonholes, finishing edges, and adding decorative details. You'll leave with the confidence to use the tools that came with your machine and take your sewing projects to the next level.

You are welcome to bring your own functioning sewing machine and machine feet to learn how to use them. We also have studio machines and a variety of machine feet available for students to use during class.
Students will practice using different machine feet and complete sewing samples to reference for future projects.
