In this two-hour, one-time Reverse Appliqué class, you'll transform an ordinary sweatshirt into a one-of-a-kind wearable work of art! Learn how to stitch a design over layered fabrics and carefully cut away the top layer to reveal the fabric underneath, creating a fun, colorful effect.
Previous sewing machine experience and knowledge is required or students must take our Machine Sewing Basics class.
Our studio sews with Brother® computerized sewing machines. You’re welcome to use one of our studio machines or you can even bring your own personal machine to get better acquainted with it.
Create a custom sweatshirt while learning the reverse appliqué technique. We'll cover design placement, fabric selection, stitching, cutting techniques, and finishing tips so you can confidently use this technique on future clothing and sewing projects.
