Join our 6-hour workshop, split into two 3-hour sessions, to quickly learn machine sewing techniques, and new skills. This crash course compresses our individual classes into one intensive experience.
Our studio, we use Brother® computerized sewing machines and sergers. For this group class, you’ll be required to use our Brother® sergers, as we’re unable to accommodate personal sergers.
In our first class, we’ll dive into the basics of using a serger to give your projects a clean, professional finish. You’ll also learn multiple techniques for sewing zippers and buttons. Both by machine and with some hand-sewing methods.
In the second class, we’ll put your new skills into action! You’ll work on a project of your choice that incorporates your new learned serger techniques, zippers and or buttons. Choose your own “sewing adventure” with options like a zipper pouch, a throw pillow cover with zipper or buttons, or bring an idea of your own or we’re happy to give you ideas!

Basic sewing machine experience needed to attend this class. If you're new to machine sewing, we recommend starting with our Machine Sewing Basics Class first.
