This one-time class is part of our up-cycling series where you’ll turn old clothes, blankets, or scrap fabric into something totally new. Using what you already have at home to create with intention, not waste.
Our studio sews with Brother® computerized sewing machines. You’re welcome to use one of our studio machines or you can even bring your own functioning personal machine to get better acquainted with it.
Class Details:
Make Something New: Make what you want, how you want, patterns provided or bring your own.
Upcycle What You Have: Bring old clothing, linens, or fabric scraps from home. We’ll guide you in choosing and cutting materials for your project.
Sew with Support: Learn new construction techniques while making something useful and unique.
Sew Sustainably: Learn how to make the most of fabric you already own. No need to buy new fabric to start sewing

Requirements:
Previous sewing machine experience and knowledge is required or students must take our Machine Sewing Basics Class.
Students must bring old clothing, linens, or fabric scraps from home. It’s likely students will not finish every project they have in mind for this class. Please join another Maker Mondays Class or Guided Open Studio to complete your project(s).
